During my Co-op at Audible, I was part of the Brand Promotions team where I had the opportunity to design a landing page devoted to the famous YouTube stars that have written their own books and translated them to audiobooks through Audible. The purpose of this landing page is to create a more unified tie between the audiobooks that these stars are promoting and Audible as a source of spoken audio entertainment.
Overview
Audible is linked directly with these YouTube influencers who have a lot of followers interested in their audiobooks. These influencers will promote their audiobooks in their videos that links directly to their own personal audiobook but there wasn't a single place that showcases Audible's connection with this specific group of stars.
The Challenge
Version One
Several YouTube influencers are showcased with the ability to be rotated in and out amongst others at the point of refreshing access to the page. Elements of the recognized YouTube logo intertwines with the influencer's images. The subtle handwritten text was used to keep the personal feel that these influencers bring to their fans.
Version Two
The title associated with the audiobooks display is associated with the type treatment that YouTube uses throughout their webpages. Keeping components that are easily identifiable to users creates a quicker affiliation between the two sources being introduced together.
Displaying a handful of other audiobooks that these influencers have interest in gives a greater opportunity for users to discover more about Audible.
